Purifying Charcoal Mask

I’ve been researching charcoal lately around this new treatment being used in beauty spas. My first time using this product was super interesting. If you are used to those heavy clay masks you’ll find this product very refreshing. The Purifying Charcoal Mask you’d think would be like black tar going on but it was definitely the opposite of that. It was so light and easy flowing on your face. Word of warning it’s very black. It’s so smooth, silky and thin. We need about a dime size amount to cover your whole face.

So I here I am with this black stuff all over my face and it looks scary but it felt tingly. It felt really good and I’m guessing that’s the peppermint oil put in this product. The directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes. As it dried I could totally feel as it tightened my face.   I understand now when they say “increasing elasticity” into your skin. I believe it.

Now you think that something like this would be really difficult to take off but it was easy with just water.   I was amazed at how easily this mask came off. My face did feel like it had a little bit of residue but I believe that was from the enriching apple extract, Green Tea powder and peppermint oils contained within the charcoal mask as well. My daughter and I actually did this together and she felt the same thing. She said that after her mask was removed her face felt lighter and more refreshed. I would suggest to do a mask before you shower and get all the way up to your hairline.  The shower will make sure you get ALL the mask off your face.  It’s not that pleasant for others to look at when you miss a big black spot on the crease of your nose or back by your ears.  You probably know what I’m talking about.  LOL…Also, this regime is well worth the 15 minutes because it noticeably reduces the appearance of your pores!!  I love it!

This is actually one of the products that sold me in jumping into the business. I was so amazed this company is advanced enough to exclude the typical skin care ingredients that can cause hormone imbalances and cancer and then include ingredients that contain healing properties! That excites me! I had been working for several years researching how to make my own skin care products and trying to figure out what types of oils and butters and their quantities to use together. Also researching different healing properties to put in my skin care product so I didn’t have to have all those chemicals the store soaps, body washes and lotions all had.

I was proud of Norwex for taking the chemicals out of their skin products and adding other healing ingredients to their given line, however, I wasn’t seeing the vitamin E or the citrus oil’s and the different types of healing ingredients in their products as I see there is in Beautycounter products. So I will definitely sell Norwex cleaning products they are incredibly awesome products.  Both of these skin care lines overlap each other where Norwex does not provide makeup, Beautycounter does. Beautycounter does not provide cleaning products and Norwex does.
